What is CrossFit?

CrossFit incorporates aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, metabolic conditioning and body weight exercises performed at high intensity over short duration. Our workouts are developed to be adaptable and scalable to all fitness levels. No matter who you are, no matter what your current fitness level, CrossFit will help you reach the next level.

Who is CrossFit for?

CrossFit is for anyone and everyone regardless of age, gender, athletic abilities, or body type. All CrossFit workouts are scalable to fit the needs of the participant.

I have a previous injury. Can I still participate in classes?

Here at CrossFit Fort Atkinson, we can modify and adjust all of the movements and workouts to better suit your personal needs. Everything can be scaled and adjusted to allow for full participation. (*Note: We are not medical professionals. Please check with your doctor prior to participating.)

I am nervous about joining. What should my first step be?

Don’t be nervous! While CrossFit can be intimidating for beginners, we assure you there is nothing to worry about! There are a few ways you can get started. 

Join us for an Introductory Course with one of our trainers. During this course, you will receive 4 personal training sessions (2 per week) followed by 2 weeks of regular group classes. Give it a try and see if it works for you. 

You could also try one of our 6-week challenges. During these challenges, you will participate in normal crossfit classes (all scalable to your needs) with a group of new members who are also trying it out for the first time.

Can I sign up for personal training sessions?

Yes! We do offer personal training session with one of our five trainers. Dates and times will vary depending on the trainer. Email us today to set something up.

I am not comfortable lifting weights. Is there something else I can do?

We do offer a Sweat Class that concentrates mainly on cardio and bodyweight movements. This one hour class is held on Tuesday/Thursdays at 8:15am or 5:30pm. There is no need to complete an introductory course for these classes. Just sign up and show up. Email us today if your looking to start!

I want to lose weight, but don’t want to look masculine and bulky.

Don't worry, our classes focus on staying active and living a healthy lifestyle. General attendance and participation will not result in a bulky appearance. If your personal goal IS to become an elite athlete, extreme dedication and one-on-one coaching with our trainers would be needed.
